"Merlot and Me" In this painting I wanted to suggest the mood of the model while using a minimum of line and color. My goal was to keep the work fresh and expressive. This painting started with a drawing of the model in my studio. Sensitive lines, a restrained use of color, and the painterly background help to capture the moment. Painted on heavyweight paper, this artwork will require framing for display.
